INGREDIENTS:
Mutton, boneless & sliced: 250 gm
Soy sauce: 1 tsp
Honey: 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice: 1/2 tsp
Mushrooms, sliced: 4
Sesame oil: 2 tsp
Onions, grated: 2
Ginger, grated: 1 tsp
Garlic, chopped: 2
Spring onions, chopped: 2 stalks
Sugar: 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Sesame seeds: 1 tsp
Lettuce leaves: 2
METHOD
- Marinade mutton with soy sauce, honey, lemon juice for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Heat a wok, add 1 tsp sesame oil & stir fry the mutton till its a golden brown in colour.
- Remove & keep aside.
- In the same wok, add mushrooms & give it a minute of stir fry.
- Remove & keep aside.
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil in the same wok & add grated onions.
- Cook for 2 mins, then add ginger, garlic & red chilli paste.
- Cook further for 30 secs & then toss in mushrooms.
- Cook on high for a minute, before adding the cooked mutton.
- Toss for around 10 mins on high flame.
- Sprinkle spring onions & sugar.
- Check for seasoning & add salt accordingly.
- Serve hot, sprinkling toasted sesame seeds & serve on a bed of lettuce leaves. NOTE: This is one of the signature dish of Korea, mostly made of beef but I have substituted it with lamb. Enjoy!
