Sesame oil: 1 tbsp

Garlic, chopped: 2

Ginger julienne: 1/2″

Sesame seeds: 1 tsp

Button mushrooms, sliced: 200 gm

Bok choy: 100 gm

Tomatoes, cubed: 2

Salt to taste

Green chilli sauce: 1 tsp

Dark soy sauce: 1 tsp

Tofu, cubed: 200 gm



  1. Heat a wok, add sesame oil, allow it to reach a smoking point. Remove.
  2. Allow to cool, then add garlic & ginger.
  3. Re flame & add sesame seeds on slow flame.
  4. Add button mushrooms & bok choy.
  5. Toss well for 3-4 mins on high flame, then add tomatoes.
  6. Cook for 2 mins on high, then sprinkle salt.
  7. Add green chilli sauce & dark soy sauce.
  8. Mix well & add tofu cubes.
  9. Give it all a gentle mix, sprinkle sesame seeds & serve hot with steam rice/noodles.                                                                 NOTE: In the mood of something light on your palate without a fuss or fret? Well then this one is for you. Enjoy!
