INGREDIENTS:

Fish, sliced: 400 gm

Mint leaves: 15

Olive oil: 3 tbsp

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp

FOR THE SAUCE
Butter: 1 tbsp

Garlic, chopped: 2

Onion, sliced: 1

White wine: 70 ml

Cream: 200 ml

Vegetable stock: 100 ml

Walnut paste: 1 1/2 tsp

Tahini paste: 1 tsp

Paprika powder: 1/4 tsp

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp

Lime juice: 1/2

 

METHOD

1) Marinate fish in mint leaves, olive oil, salt, black pepper powder for about 10 mins.

2) Transfer to a pan & shallow fry on medium flame for 3-4 mins on either side.

3) For the sauce, heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic & saute’ for 1/2 a minute.

4) Add onion & let it turn translucent.

5) Add wine & cook for 30 seconds, before adding cream & vegetable stock.

6) Cook till the sauce reduces to half.

7) Add walnut paste, tahini paste & paprika powder, salt & black pepper powder.

8) Remove & add lime juice, mix well & pour the sauce over the fried fish.
